Los Angeles, CA–Black business owners are encouraged to attend “Contract Ready L.A. & Building LA Today,” this weekend at the Westin Hotel near LAX. The event is centered around preparing minority business owners to land contracting opportunities in Los Angeles County.

Contract Ready LA’s founder, Dion Rambo, shares his inspiration behind curating the event.
“I created Building LA Today and Contract Ready LA to help make contracting fair for small business owners. Diversity is more needed today than ever. And the goal is to equip local business owners interested in contracting.”

So far, the event has grown to over 500 attendants per month and counting.
Rambo is a Los Angeles County Commissioner, strategic businessman, and a serial entrepreneur. He is praised for bringing economic opportunities to the city of L.A for the last 15 years and is the founder of RamboHouse.com.
Rambo is also a recipient of the Mayor’s 2022 Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR).
The event will feature speakers and entrepreneurs, with everyone speaking for 6 minutes each. The goal is for attendee’s to learn how to win the bidding process for contracts in the city.
