The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles is opening a lottery system for an opportunity to be placed on the Section 8 Waiting List.
The Section 8 Program is a rental assistance program that helps very low income families afford decent, safe and sanitary housing.
Section 8 Waitlist Lottery opens Monday, October 17, 2022 at 6:00AM until Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 5:00PM.
Applications submitted for the lottery must be submitted online using a smart phone, mobile device, or computer with Internet access.
Applications will NOT be provided or accepted at any HACLA location.
