Bass was present, with the same high energy she held over the last year, as she met with communities throughout Los Angeles.
Los Angeles is currently awaiting the 2022 election results, with both the L.A County Mayor and Sheriff race being the most anticipated.
Earlier today, the Los Angeles County Registrar’s Office released the latest results, showing Bass leading over Rick Caruso by more than 4,000 votes.
Just yesterday, Caruso carried a 12,000-vote lead into Wednesday. As more votes were counted through the weekday that lead began to shrink (KTLA 5).
Over 60% of ballots have been counted so far.
The Los Angeles County Registrar’s office shared a photo to their social media, showing the mass number of mail-in ballots that still needed to be processed.
